Frequently asked question

How can we help you get the support you need?

We are here to answer your questions and guide you on how to support our mission, access our programs, or get involved as a volunteer or partner.

A Foundation volunteer helping an elderly beneficiary at a medical outreach

You can give a one-off or monthly donation through our donation page, by card, bank transfer or USSD. You can also support us by volunteering on an outreach, partnering with us as an organisation, or donating supplies such as medications, books and food items. Every route reaches the same place — the communities we serve.

Our work runs across eight areas: poverty alleviation, access to quality education, healthcare and wellness, gender equality and empowerment, environmental conservation, community development and infrastructure, human rights advocacy, and disaster relief and emergency response. In practice that means medical outreaches, school and scholarship support, livelihood training and direct relief to families in crisis.

Donations go directly into programme delivery — the doctors, medications, learning materials, food and logistics that make an outreach happen. We hold transparency and accountability as core values, and supporters who want a breakdown of how their gift was applied can request one by emailing support@chizobafoundation.com.

Yes. Our outreaches are run by volunteers — medical professionals, logistics helpers, registration and dispensing support, and people who simply turn up and help. Send us a note through the contact page telling us where you are based and what you would like to help with, and we will get in touch when the next outreach is being planned.

We are based in Enugu, Nigeria, and our outreaches so far have run in communities across Enugu State — most recently the medical outreach at Obeleagu Umana. Our aims are global in scope, and we expand into new communities as partnerships and funding allow.

Our approach
