The terms on which you may use this website and make a donation to the Chizoba Charity Foundation.
These terms govern your use of chizobafoundation.com and any donation you make through it. By using the site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
The site is operated by Chizoba Charity Foundation, a humanitarian organisation with its office at No 7 Emeka Oranezi Crescent, New Heaven Extension, Enugu, Nigeria.
You may browse the site, read about our work and make donations. You agree not to:
Card and online donations are processed by Flutterwave. When you donate by card you are taken to Flutterwave's secure checkout and enter your payment details there. We do not receive or store your card details. Bank transfer details are published on our donation page for supporters who prefer that route.
Donations are taken in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless stated otherwise. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion rate and charges if your account is in another currency; those charges are outside our control.
A donation is a voluntary gift. It is not a purchase, and you receive no goods, services or other benefit in exchange. Donations are applied at the Foundation's discretion to the programmes where they are most needed, unless you have agreed a specific restriction with us in writing.
You will receive an acknowledgement at the email address you provide. Keep your transaction reference — we will need it to look up any donation.
If you set up a monthly gift, it continues until you cancel it. To cancel, email support@chizobafoundation.com and we will stop the next and all future payments.
Because donations are gifts, they are generally non-refundable. We will however refund a donation made in genuine error — for example a duplicate charge or an obviously mistyped amount — if you contact us within 30 days of the transaction, quoting your reference. Refunds are returned to the original payment method. If you believe a payment was made fraudulently from your card, contact both your bank and us immediately.
We do not represent that donations to the Foundation are tax deductible in your jurisdiction. If you intend to claim tax relief on a gift, please confirm the position with your own tax adviser first.

Fundraising in our name. Only the Foundation and people we have authorised in writing may raise funds on our behalf. If someone approaches you claiming to collect for us and you are unsure, please verify with us before giving.
We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, particularly the accounts of our programmes and the figures we publish. We do not warrant that every page is free of error or omission, and we may change content at any time without notice.
We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of failures at our host or payment provider. If a donation fails for a technical reason, nothing is charged — please try again or use bank transfer.
Where we link to other organisations, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, security or practices.
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, the Foundation is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Our handling of your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last revised at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
